There are always straight lines that look like rays that are a big lighter than the colors of the bag. There is a heart above the name "Sun Chips" declaring that there are 18 grams of whole grains per serving. At the bottom of the bag, there are a picture of the chips and a picture of a huge hunk of cheese under the words "Harvest Cheddar." In fact, there are claims made on the bag that a serving of potato chips has 10 grams of fat while a serving of Sun Chips has six grams of fat. There are lines that are drawn to point to the nutrition facts. However, even though the lines are drawn directly to where the information states, the Harvest Cheddar Sun Chips have nine grams of fat per serving. Learn more at www.smartspot.com" What the product offers: The product, just like potato chips, is kept fresh in the bag. The taste of the Sun Chips whole grain is quite good. It is not like the taste of a salty potato chip, but to satisfy the craving for that crunch, it is very good. Sun Chips are created so they have ridges and are not at all like wheat thins. The flavored Sun Chips keep the flavoring powder on them by having the ridges hold it tightly. In fact, the ridges hold the cheese powder so well that the cheese flavor is actually overwhelming, even for cheese lovers. Is it worth it? If you love cheese so much that even others who love cheese think you are fanatic, this product is worth buying. However, since the cheese flavor is so strong, it is best to go with a different option. That option may just be a different flavor of Sun Chips. You can either buy single serving bags or bags that can be kept that have more than one serving. For a single serving bag, you should not pay more than $1.50. For a bag that is around 14oz, or perhaps a bit smaller, you should not pay more than $3.50. Comments: The product contains wheat and milk. Sun Chips Cinnamon Flavor

Explanation of the product: These chips come in a 5 oz. bag that is light yellow on the top and dark brown on the bottom. On the bottom of the bag, there is a picture of cinnamon sticks. To the right of this picture, there is a picture of the chips. The nutrition facts and ingredients are listed on the back of the bag. The bag also claims that they are limited edition. What the product promises: There are very few promises on the bag. Near the nutrition facts, it is pointed out that Sun Chips have less total fat in a serving than other chips. Then the bag also has a variety of sayings that inform consumers that "whole grains may help reduce heart disease." What the product offers: The chips are like whole grain wafers. They are not like Triscuit wafers, but they are more like whole grain chips. They have ridges that hold the flavorings on the chips. When the bag is opened, the chips the aroma is that of subdued cinnamon. The scent is not strong, but when time is taken to let the scent linger, the aroma of cinnamon can definitely been smelled. The taste of the chips is light. Because of the ridges, the entirety of the chips is covered in cinnamon. The cinnamon taste is never lost to the taste of the chips. The salt can be tasted underneath the cinnamon. It does not really hurt the flavor, but a bit less salt would be nice. One serving is 15 chips. This is a normal serving for chips. Is it worth it? If this is the type of product liked, these chips are worth buying as long as they are not over $3 per bag. Comments: These chips would probably make a great crunchy topping for a dessert that called for a cinnamon flavored crust or topping. They are also good along with the graham flavored Sun Chips. Fuze Slenderize: Strawberry Melon

Explanation of the product: The product comes in a glass bottle wrapped in green plastic with pictures of melon slices and strawberries on it. The cap is silver. The top of the plastic boasts that it is low carb in a blue ribbon around the top. The bottle and design are definitely attractive and can catch the eye. What the product promises: Under the product name, but above the title, there's the word "slenderize." With all of the weight loss gimmicks today, it can be easy for consumers to think that Fuze: Slenderize is one of those gimmicks. Whether they believe in these things and are disappointed or do not want to try the product because that's what they feel it is, consumers would be wrong in assuming that this is what Fuze: Slenderize is. Fuze: Slenderize is a low carb fruit drink. It does not claim to make the pounds melt off the body. The flavor is Strawberry Melon. Underneath the flavor, it states that L-Carntine, Super Citrima, Chromium, and Vitamin C are contained in the drink. Within the blue rectangle at the bottom that states "low carb," it sas that there are ten calories per serving. When reading the nutrition ingredients, a bottle contains two servings, so twenty calories are in one bottle. One the side, the same mistake can be made. There is a list of the things listed on the front and the amounts per bottle. This can be a little confusing since it is not consistent with the front of the bottle. However, the side is not per serving, but per bottle. Fuze does not lie and say that it is fruit juice. It does not even state that it is a fruit drink, but that is what it is. It is 5% fruit juice. What the product offers: The bottle must first be shaken. When opened, there is not much of a fragrance. However, the slight smell of fruit is detectable. When tasted, the flavor is light, but it is not diluted. The red liquid does look like a diluted strawberry drink. The melon taste is not just watermelon but other melons as well. The drink is not sweet. In fact, it contains sucralose (Splenda) near the very end of the ingredients. Is it worth it? If you like this type of drink, yes, it is worth it as long as you are not paying over $3 for an 18 oz. bottle. Comments: If you like sweeter drinks, try the Strawberry Guava flavor of Fuze.

Hershey's Gold Candy Bar

As a fan of caramel, I was thrilled to find Hershey's Gold Candy Bars at a local gas station. When I got home, I opened the package. The smell was not sweet like I expected, but smoky. The color was of a tannish-goldish nature and the texture of the bar seemed smooth. When I took my first bite, the taste of the bar was smoky with traces of a caramel sweetness. It was not what I was expecting, but it tasted good. I kept eating and found that this was a taste in parts of the candy bar, but there were also parts that tasted like pretzel. This was consistent with what the wrapper on the candy bar states, "Peanuts and Pretzels." As I took more bites, I was pleased with the combination of flavors. Hershey's did a great job combining these flavors. This is a perfect candy bar for when something sweet and salty is not wanted, but for some reason, chocolate is also not wanted. Another plus is that this candy bar is safe for dogs other than possibly an upset stomach if the dog is not used to this type of food.
